Joey Maher, NY Yankees, Bedford, NH
Play the Game is delighted to announce that Bedford, NH native, NY Yankees draft pick, and current pitcher in the Yankees Organization, Joey Maher, will be at Play the Game to do pitching clinics/lessons in late December and into January.
Joey battled through some arm injuries this past summer but recovered fully before the end of the season. In his last few outings for the Yankees he was very effective and did not allow a single run. Batters only hit .091 against the tall right-hander once he returned to the mound to finish the season. He is working hard this off-season in hopes of a promotion through the ranks come next spring.
This will be the third series of clinics/lessons that Joey has done with Play the Game, for the kids in the Southern New Hampshire area in the last year.
Charleston Riverdogs
Joey will be available to do private lessons and/or group lessons for groups up to four players at a time. This is a limited time offer over the next two weeks. Joey is on his way back from the Gulf Coast League and will only be in NH for a short time. We ask you to please bring your own catcher(s) if possible so that Joey can maximize his time working with each pitcher.
I have worked with Joey over the last two off-seasons on many of these lessons/clinics and I highly recommend his teaching approach and his ability to relate to players young and older. Working with Joey would be advantageous for pitchers of any age, including high school and college pitchers. Please contact me as soon as possible to book your time with this MLB Pitching prospect before he leaves for further off-season training with the Yankees.
